About Champion’s Fight
Resilience Through Service, Athletics, and Life
Nick Young, LPC-Associate, provides counseling services under the supervision of Judith Alexander-Priest, LPC-S, in compliance with Texas licensing requirements.
Nick’s background as a Marine Corps veteran, two-sport collegiate athlete, and two-time Ironman finisher reflects a lifelong commitment to perseverance, mental toughness, and goal-setting. These experiences shape his approach to guiding clients toward personal growth and overcoming adversity.
Authenticity Through Personal Experience
Having walked through the challenges of a traumatic brain injury himself, Nick’s recovery experience has deepened his understanding of trauma and healing. His personal journey fuels a practice grounded in empathy, compassion, and connection – meeting clients exactly where they are.
By integrating creative methods like expressive arts and sand tray therapy, Nick provides a safe space for clients to process emotions, confront challenges, and uncover clarity. These techniques encourage growth, resilience, and lasting transformation.
